Freelance translators and interpreters, editors, layout designers (freelancers)

If you are engaged in translation and localisation as a self-employed or individual entrepreneur and want to cooperate with our company, please send your resume and proposals in Russian only to a special email address hr@akmw.ru.

Please indicate in the subject line:

• native language and working languages, services that you provide (translation, editing, layout, etc.);
• your legal status (for example, self-employed, individual entrepreneur, limited liability company etc);
• last name, first name;
• working languages and approximate rates in RUB for 1800 characters with spaces in the translation text or per hour/day of interpretation;
• main and additional fields of expertise;
• CAT tools

Providing key information in the subject line of the email will lead to a faster response and sooner possible cooperation.

In your letter or CV, please also include:

• native language and all working languages with the description of your level of knowledge, experience, services (translation, editing, layout, etc.);
• your legal status (for example, self-employed, individual entrepreneur, limited liability company etc);
• last name, first name;
• contact details;
• working languages and approximate rates in RUB for 1800 characters with spaces in the translation text or per hour/day of interpretation;
• main and additional fields of expertise;
• CAT tools, VRI platforms;
• education (university, year of graduation);
• region (city) of residence;
• additional languages (for example, Belarusian, Kazakh, Ukrainian);
• pace of translation or editing per day/week

For preliminary testing, please send examples of your translations on the main topics (preferably in two columns: original on the left, translation on the right), excluding confidential information, or examples of layout and layout work.

You can also send copies of diplomas and other documents if you wish.

Today, the most in-demand languages are CIS and BRICS languages as well as Farsi (Persian) orally and in writing, Arabic, Spanish, German, Chinese, Turkish, and Hungarian.

At the discretion of the editorial team, you may be sent special test tasks for translation and editing so we can decide whether to include you in our databases of approved translators of the AKM Translations group. Test tasks are not paid and are not reviewed.
