Freelance Translators, Interpreters, Editors, and Layout designers
If you work in translation and localisation as a freelancer or sole trader and would like to collaborate with our company, please send your CV and proposals in Russian only to the following email address: hr@akmw.ru.
In the subject line of your email, please include:
- Your native language and working languages, along with the services you offer (translation, editing, layout, etc.)
- Your legal status (for example, freelancer, sole trader, limited company, etc.)
- Your full name
- Working languages and approximate rates in RUB (per 1800 characters including spaces for translation, or per hour/day for interpretation)
- Main and additional fields of expertise
- CAT tools you use
Providing this key information in the subject line will help us respond faster and potentially start cooperation sooner.
In the body of your email or CV, please also include:
- Your native language and all working languages, with descriptions of your proficiency, experience, and services offered
- Your legal status (e.g. freelancer, sole trader, limited company)
- Your full name
- Contact details
- Working languages and approximate rates in RUB (per 1800 characters including spaces for translation, or per hour/day for interpretation)
- Main and additional areas of specialisation
- CAT tools and video remote interpreting (VRI) platforms you are familiar with
- Educational background (university and year of graduation)
- Your location (city/region)
- Any additional languages (e.g. Belarusian, Kazakh, Ukrainian)
- Your daily or weekly translation/editing output
For preliminary assessment, please send examples of your translations on key topics (preferably in two columns: the original text on the left and your translation on the right), making sure to exclude any confidential information. Layout samples are also welcome if relevant.
You may also include copies of your diplomas and other qualifications if you wish.
Currently, the most in-demand languages include those of the CIS and BRICS countries, as well as Persian (Farsi, both oral and written), Arabic, Spanish, German, Chinese, Turkish, and Hungarian.
At our editorial team’s discretion, you may be asked to complete special test tasks in translation and editing to determine if you qualify for our approved translator database. Please note that test tasks are unpaid and will not receive individual feedback.
